The Unemployment Insurance Program for the Riverside Campus of the University of California is administered through the Labor Relations and Workers’ Compensation Office by:

The Labor Relations and Workers’ Compensation office represents the University in all unemployment insurance claims and related issues, which includes insuring that Unemployment Insurance Termination Reports are prepared and transmitted to Labor Relations, insuring coordination between TALX UC eXpress and the campus with respect to the monitoring and handling of claims.
Departmental Responsibilities
Because of mandated time limits set by the State of California for employer response to claims, all unemployment insurance claims, Unemployment Insurance Termination Reports and related correspondence must be submitted to the Labor Relations Office immediately.
Information for Separating Employees
When your employment with the University ends, you may be eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits. An individual who files for unemployment insurance benefits must meet specific eligibility requirements before benefits can be paid. EDD determines whether or not you are eligible according to state law and regulations. Each case is decided individually.
